Fragrant Friends is a small family company, started by Julie Jackson-Corney - an Associate Member of the Animal Care College. Julie is a specialist in Animal Health Care and Management - as well as being a professionally qualified groomer - and has been a dog owner for many years.

Our aims are to provide dog owners with all the information and tools necessary to help them meet the essential health and welfare requirements of their pet through a regular home care regime and to help ensure that their dog remains comfortable, happy, healthy and above all “MORE FRAGRANT”.

Julie, who started Fragrant Friends to share her knowledge and experience with dog owners, has studied for qualifications in companion animal care over many years. During her studies, she realised that the right level of information, explained in the right way and providing the correct tools for novices to learn the fundamentals was difficult to find. Until now, anyone that wanted to learn those fundamentals had to buy expensive and often complicated reference books, intended for the animal health care or grooming professional.

The choice of equipment available to pet owners today is so vast that many owners spend far more than necessary and still end up with the wrong equipment for their dogs' coat type. Coupled with the lack of proper instructions found on many grooming products, the equipment is often used incorrectly. This causes frustration for the owners who find themselves still unable to cope with their pets' coat care requirements. There is also the danger that a pet may unintentionally become injured due to the improper use of the equipment.
